Patrick Henry Dowling

Patrick Henry Dowling (Doolan?)and Margaret Hanly Dowling of Corofin, County Clare, Ireland had ten (10) children:

Michael Henry b.1864, joined British Army in India and died there; John Joseph b.1866, our great-grandfather, m. Eva

Morris and lived on Blackwell's Island, East River and in Bronx New York City; Oliver b.1868, died in fire in New York

City; Margaret b.1870, married and moved to New York City and died there; Thomas b. 1872; James b.1873, m. Anne

Ryan, member of NY Fire Department and died in 1935; Mary b. 1875, m. Thomas Kenny and had four children:

Valentine, Harry, Joe, and Bessie and stayed in Corofin, Harry was ordained a priest in 1935, Diocese of Killeloe, Co.

Clare and lived in the Parish House in Kilkee with his brother, Joe; Patrick b.1877 and died young in Corofin; Andrew

b. 1879 and died young in Corofin; Joseph b. 1881 and died an infant.
