The bride was dressed in cream silk, and wore a large white picture hat. , She was given away by Mr. John McConkey, uncle of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids were Misses Gladys and Ellen Hall, cousins of the bride and bridegroom. Both wore white embroidery dresses trimmed with pale blue ribbon, and hats to match. Mr. Arthur Allen at tended his brother as best man. After, the ceremony was performed, the happy couple drove to the residence of their aunt, Mrs. John Hall, where the wedding breakfast was partaken of, and afterwards amid the hearty congratulations of their many friends they left for their new home in the Isseka district. The, wedding cake was made and given by Mrs. J. A. Mercy, of Isseka, who also made the bridesmaids' dresses. The presents were costly and numerous.
