I am the Great Great Grandson of Mr Rahamin Moutals' wifes' second husband, Mr Henry Adderley. We inherited a piece of furniture previously owned by Mr & Mrs Rahamin Haim Moutal. Just yesterday, September 11th 2008, we discovered a secret drawer in this piece of furniture which contained photgraphs of Mr Moutal, his wife and children and his wifes' family.
His wifes' name was Angele. She was of Belgium origin. They were married, we believe on 24th July 1907. We have a wedding photograph of the happy couple on their wedding day dated such. They had a daughter in 1908 called Ninette who, we belive emigrated to Canada, probably in 1928. Among the documents was a letter dated December 1927 from the 'National Disasters Fund' (which, by then, incorporated the Titanic, Lusitania and Empress of Ireland disaster funds). This letter stated that Ninette Mousal was seeking to emigrate to Canada and recommended that this might be beneficial for her.
Mrs Moutal became a french language teacher, teaching in schools in the South London area before remarrying my, by then, widowed Great Great Grandfather, Henry Adderley.
