S Congressman. He was elected as a Republican on three separate occasion to represent a four different New Jersey Congressional Districts in the United States House of Representatives. His first terms in office lasted from 1895 to 1911, during which he represented first the 6th District, then the 7th District, then finally the 13th District. His next two times in Congress, which went from 1914 to 1919, then from 1921 until 1923, saw him represent New Jersey's 9th District. He was defeated for re-election in the 1922 Congressional race by Daniel F. Minahan, and died in Paris, France only ten months after leaving office. His grandfather was New Jersey Congressman James Parker.
