Richard is buried in the Ogden City Cemetery together with his wife Jane Evans Wilson and their son David Evans Wilson. David's obituary says the family sailed to Canada in 1866 and arrived in Utah in 1868; but the first document to place them here is David's 1872 marriage in Salt Lake City. Further research is needed to clarify the family's immigration.
