Notes
I propose that Sarah Unknown and Mary Walter are one and the same. They have the same death date, the same birth within a year, and conflicting marriage dates. Some sources state that Sarah married William in 1609, some 1621, others state that Mary married him in 1609 and 1617. Their first child (recorded) was born in 1614, affirming the 1609 marriage date. All records found attribute the same children to both mothers.
Tom (Bredehoft-6) :Tom, look at new data I added to William Gaylord's profile, which includes 1982 research by Benjamin Gaylord, and Charles Anderson's Great Migration Begins summations. Gaylord found no gravestone for Mary Walters Gaylord-- apparently the only source for her name-- and neither ofthem mentioned a Sarah. -- Jillain 1 May 2013 (EDT))
