Sgt Abel Lockwood Chase

Graveside funeral services for Abel L. Chase, 76, of Cypress, California were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, February 5, 2000 at Elmwood Cemetery in Wagoner.

Abel was born May 5, 1923 in Brownville Junction, Maine to Abel Henry and Laura (Clark) Chase. He was a truck driver early in life before he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1943. He served as a Sergeant until his discharge in 1946. Abel moved to California and live for some time, where he owned a portable x-ray company. He passed away Sunday, January 23, 2000.

Abel was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Libby Chase; a son, Mikko Chase; and a brother, Andrew Chase.
