Sir Roger Harsyke

Was of age by 1414 (cosigned an indenture with two of the heirs of Sir William Caley), knighted by 1419. Died 1453-1454. Bequests to brother Edmund, sister Margaret. Survived by wife and two daughters (Margaret, m. William Dorward, Esq., and Joan, m. his younger brother Richard). (Author does not realize there were three consecutive John Dorwards, and the above-mentioned Dorwards were grandsons, not sons, of the MP and Speaker.)
