Sir T.B. was the first Indian to become a member of the Iranian Academy, followed by Dr. Tarachand, Vice Chancellor of Allahabad University who was a fine man and a great educationist. Details about the Iranian Academy can be obtained from the Iranian Embassy. I confirmed this from my father.
As for his role in the politics of India with reference to his role in the round table conferences and the Govt of India Act 1935, the book " Cambridge History of India." The book is an authoritative source on Sir T.B.
