- Y-DNA Classic Chart at the FTDNA site at: https://www.familytreedna.com/public/blake/default.aspx?section=yre... has shown that there were TWO MEN NAMED THEOPHILUS BLAKE. The Theophilus Blake who married Margaret (possibly Kennett) is NOT the Theophilus Blake who was the son of Samuel Blake and Ann Ceilly of Hampton, NH. The parents of the Theophilus Blake who was found on indenture records in Chester County, Pennsylvania in 1745 and who migrated to Bath County, Virginia and Greenbrier County, West Virginia are not known at this time. But, research is ongoing to find that information.
