About Thomas Price, Sr.

Came into the Province of Maryland on March 25, 1634, being one of the party sailing from Cowes Isle of Wight, England on Nov. 22, 1633. The ship was [ Ships were (plural) Ark and Dove ] ARK AND THE DOVE with Gov. Leonard Calvert, in expedition to colonize Maryland. He settled first at St. Mary's City, MD and was a member of the council at St. Mary's in 1694.
The Society of the Ark and the Dove does not have his name on their list currently [on their website]. On it are Lodowick and two John's. It seems to be an on and off proposition with them

CRESTS— SEALS— COAT OF ARMS.
One of the Crests of this family, was said, some years ago, to be carved on a tombstone in Christ's Churchyard, Middlesex County, Virginia. There is also found among the Middlesex Coun- ty marriage bonds, one in connection with the marriage of "Thomas Price," and the papers were sealed with a "Roman or Greek Head in Profile" (Ref. Va. Historical Papers).
