About Naomi 'Amy' Davis?
Notes for NAOMI AMY DAVIS HOLDSWORTH: Amy married first Walter Holdsworth, of Brandon's Hundred and bore him three children, Ann, Walter and Mary. When he died she married next William Scarborough II who had the misfortune to be hanged for his participation in Bacon's Rebellion. By him she bore three children, William III, Edward, and John She then married one Thomas Tyus who served as administrator of her second husband's estate. ... He married Amy Holdsworth Scarborough in or about 1679. Thomas was dead before 1726 when an appraisement of his estate was granted. John Tyus was appointed administrator of his estate.
Naomi, generally called "Amy", is believed to have had the birth name Davis. She was certainly not a daughter of Capt. Stephen Charlton, or any relation to him.
She was a WIDOW Holdsworth - she wasn't born with that name. Birth and death dates are very wrong (should be c. 1640-c. 1679).
