DIED.
At his home in Tonica, Wednesday evening, Feb. 6, William Kane, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James Kane.
Deceased was familiarly known among his associates as "Danky." He was 17 years of age last November. For more than three weeks he has been dangerously ill from pneumonia in its worst form, until finally his young life yielded to the inevitable after intense suffering. The burial took place on Friday [Feb 8] at Lostlands Cemetery in Richland [Illinois]. The sorrowful family may justly claim the sympathies of their neighbors.
