The inscription on his tombstone is: "d. 2 (?) Mar 1690, aged 58 yrs. Insine (ensign) aged about 58 yrs." Emigrated to America before 1658. He served as the Ensign of his local militia, the South Train Band. Shown in a list of householders and proprietors taken on March 22, 1670 for Middletown, CT. His property was worth 110.00 British pounds.
