Hluboká nad Vltavou (Czech pronunciation: [%CB%88%C9%A6luboka%CB%90 ˈnadvl̩tavou̯]), German: Frauenberg) is a town in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic, near České Budějovice. This town was a favourite of Charles IV, who often visited when residing in České Budějovice. It has a Windsor style chateau castle known as Hluboká Castle that is open to the public. The Townshend International School has been based in the town since 1992.
