About the Devonshire surname

Devonshire / Dumnon-Scire in Brittania is the traditional country of Dumnon tribe , who may be descended from E-Wamma-Wan-Na A'A-Ha-Da ,one of the sons of Sha-Meg-Ra-ya-Na ,called by Greeks seemingly Hermés Trismegistos .

He may also be the ancestor of inhabitants of Dahomey ,named after him - that is Da-A'a-Ha-Wamma-E-i -, generally speaking Fon dialects . With this regard Dumnons may be considered also as successors of Fomori ( Fon-Mauri ) people of African origin in Britain and Ireland.

From this tribe might have Skiros ,king of Salamis ,descended too,and one could suppose his sons called their counties all Shire / Scire, after their forefather's name . Salamis, kingdom of Teykros,is also the place where Tukri people might have emigrated from .

Skiros himself may also be the ancestor of Skiri people in the Holy Land of America, among Siouxs, whereas related Pawnee / Panee and Piqué-Noir ( Pic-Ianuar ) tribes may be descended from Phaun / Pan , Picus and Ianus also believed to be Mercur's children .

Members of the tribe might be represented among the Daha Nomads too .

Dumnon thus would be Da-Wamma-Wan-Na-(wan).
