The correct surname name should be *of Zlotchov*. Only his father lived in Drohobich.

The pseudo-surnames "of ______" are not passed down from father to son. Rather they are used to identify the person based on one of the cities where they lived.

See this document I posted http://www.geni.com/documents/view/project-12403?doc_id=60000000173... that it was only R' Yechiel Michel **the 2nd** and his siblings adoped that adopted the surname name Drohovitcher ("of Drohovitch") after the pseudo-surname of their great-great grandfather Rabbi Yitzchok of Drohovitch.
