Mary's story is really a sad one. She just wanted to be a good Catholic. And rule as a Catholic.
Her execution turned out to be one of the most brutal of all time.
Some scholars think Queen Elizabeth did not even order her execution.

Keith - what is their thinking on it? If I remember correctly from the Biography I read quite a long time ago, Elizabeth had a great deal of difficulty with the execution, partly because of Mary's rights as a monarch.
