Tere,

Sorry to write in English, but my ancestors left Koikkula long before I was born. However, thanks to Saaga, I have found almost all of them - Kähri, Krieska, Iwan, Karja, Emoics, Moltin, Ritzik etc.

I would be very grateful if some of you would like to cooperate on gathering general information for publication in Latvian about Koikkula - Laanemetsa in 18-19 centuary.

aitäh,
Anita

Tere Anita,
My Grandfather Alesander Mednis was born in Koikkula my mother Elfrosine Aurelia Mednis was taken from her family at aged 5 and place in a German Labour Camp if you have any information about the Mednis family I would be grateful.
I think some of the family including my Grandmother MIlda Mednis nee Kuus worked at the Taheva Estate if you any photos of Taheva Mois now in ruins and any of the knights manors in the near by towns I would be very appreciative.
My mother managed to get to England and then to New Zealand so I am half Estonian and my daugters have visited Hargla we are slowly finding more information. Thank you
