Capt. Giles Webb - Confusion re references to Richmond

In various sources, there seems to be confusion, arising in part from the fact that Rappahannock County in Virginia was split into two counties in 1692, and Rappahannock County ceased to exist. References to Farnham Parish refer to Richmond County, not the City of Richmond (which is the capital of Virginia and in a different location). Essex County is the other county formed from former Rappahannock County.

For clarity, all the research I have done reveals multiple sources that Indicate that Giles Webb's place of death (as well as birth/death/marriage of several descendants) is Richmond County, Virginia (not Richmond, Virginia)
