any info on his father? Also searching for records on his mother. The family story is Frances was named for his mother's father or Grandfather, Frances Marion from the revolutionary war.

Upon further investigation it appears that Marion is his first name and Francis is his middle name, taken from his draft cards. There are many trees on ancestry that list his father being Marion Francis and mother Isophena or Icy Haven, no maiden name.
