My name is Joyce Wise Booth, granddaughter of Vesta Powers. The name should be spelled Vesta. She died 5/6/1988 at 100 years of age, being born on 1/17/1888. My dad, her son, was Thurman Wesley Wise. She was married to John Wesley Wise d. 1949. Her children, in order were: John E., Ruel, Ernest, Clinton, Thurman (T.W,) - b. 9/13/1916 d. 10/7/1991;, Lela, Ella, Effie, Lorena, Melba.

Thurman Wesley married Edith Frances Koch. They had two daughters, Shirley Ann Wise Dahl & Joyce Lavonne Wise Booth.

it is good to hear from you , I did know her name was Vesta I am sorry that I missed spelled her name I have fixed that in on the Geni tree.
I am the great grandson of Elizabeth Ellen her sister. Do you have any pictures of her or Emma or any stories of the family you could share ?
I would love to hear more information. Thank you for this information I will add it to the tree.

Vesta is my Great Grand mother. My wife is just starting our family tree. I would love to talk to any family member.
