Private User, searching for a Mabel Kitchens with those dates unfortunately didn't turn up any clear results.

I found an (unsourced) family tree on Ancestry that gives the following information on her parents:

* Father: Early Evert Kitchens
Birth: 9 Nov 1882 in Clay County, North Carolina, USA
Death: 2 Jan 1967 in Hiawassee, Georgia, USA

* Mother: Unity Grace Garrison
Birth: 25 Oct 1885 in Clay County, North Carolina, USA
Death: 28 May 1949 in Kitchens Homeplace, Clay County, NC

So that should hopefully give you some clues on where to look for actual records. Clay County, North Carolina seems to be a good starting point.

Also, the Record Matches on the profiles for her parents give burial, last residence, and SSDI records. Those could possibly be helpful as well, as could similar matches on other profiles in that branch of the tree. If I can't find info on one person, I usually keep digging for info on the people right around them to see if it leads back to info on the mystery relative.
