I have a problem with this person.

According to the gravestone I found

He lived from 1869 - 1940, however that put's his birth 6 years after his fathers death.

Explanations: Wrong Gravestone, wrong details on gravestone, wrong Albertus Jesse

Just thought I'd mention it, if you researching in this area.

You have the wrong Albertus Jesse Joubert here. The Albertus Jesse Joubert you are highlighting here was the born 1864. And he was the son of Daniel Gerhardus Joubert and Elizabeth Sara Malherbe.
The Albertus Jesse Joubert whose gravestone you are referring to was born 1869 and died 1940. He was married to Maria Catharina Malherbe. He was the son of Josua Daniel Joubert (1827-1890) and Jacomina Hendrina Sophia Louw.
