Shani Davis - Investigative Help Needed

Anyone up for helping with a mystery?

I can find almost no information on Olympic speedskater Shani Davis. I have found repeated references to his great-grandmother Maude Lambert Greene being the sister of Winifred Lambert Anderson, who was in turn the grandmother of Maryland legislator Curt Anderson. However, I can't actually find that connection. Literally all I can find on Davis is his father's name and date of birth, and his mother's name. The rest is a big mystery. I'm pretty sure http://www.mylife.com/l-cherie-davis-e159337208268 is his mother, but I can't prove it yet.

Would anyone who likes research challenges like to join me in figuring this one out?

I did also find a maternal cousin, Robin Davis. But just the name -- no other details.
