Who is it you think was born in 1608?

I'm sorry, its his son Jonathon that shows the impossible birthdate of 1638. Jonathon's daughter Abigail born a year before him, 1637. Jonathon Law, Sr., shown as his son, is also born in 1637. The true father of Jonathon Law, Sr., Abigail, and Sarah, needs to be born before them. His wife Margaret was born in 1607, 31 years before him.

Richard Law is one year younger than two of his children.

I agree absolutely with Donald, I'll see if Families of Early Milford has approximate birthdates. This is a profile I MPed as a merge guide due to it being an early immigrant and settler and there being multiple duplicates merged in. There may not be evidence for his birthdate, but we can do better than what seems to have been inherited from one or more of the duplicates!

Okay. I was curating Richard Law because Jonathan Law married Sarah Clark of Milford and there was a confusion between the two George Clarks, now I remember.

I have changed Jonathan's name to Richard -- that was the source of the confusion and could have been my mistake -- and checked the birth and death dates. Both my sources say 1687 but I have left the user-entered more exact date, in case it is a descendant who has better information.

As for the first Richard (father of Richard of Stamford), he is not listed in either of the sources I looked at. Families of Early Milford agrees mostly with the above link and it is usually fairly good although doesn't list either Abigail. I have to check the daughter Sarah who is probably wrong.
