Why was this Mary Ann Montague titled as a baroness? She is a 4th generation American, no obvious ties to English nobility. There is no marriage information for her. Is it safe to assume she is being confused with Mary Wortley Stuart, Countess of Bute, 1st Baroness Mount Stuart? Just thought I'd post something before removing the title from her name in case someone objects.
