...... on the other hand.... "fra Veien" could have been "fra Veigen" - a farm/area close to Eresfjord, Møre og Romsdal.

Or Veiholmen på Smøla, but I don't now how long time there has been a settlement there. Veiholmen has been called Veien before.

This guy Torstein Eriksson Veiholmen and his brother is sometimes called "paa Veien" in the sources, and they lived in the late middle ages.

Which one was married to Margarete? She was born in 1175 which if Arnesson was linked with her at his death she was 5 years old.....
