Reminding the South African (& all) users to be careful that you trust the person from whom you accept an ordinary Collaboration request,
and NEVER TO accept Family Group Requests unless you are happy that the person inviting you can then edit or merge on your immediate family. (Your Mom, Dad, Granny; kids etc)
Remember that being in the family group of the manager of a standalone tree also gives a PRO user the power to merge that standalone tree with the Big Tree.

If duplicate profiles exist of your immediate family, merging the profiles would at least make you co- manager of the merged profile, giving you "control" over your family members profiles...

If you want to check who is in your Family Group:
*Click on your own name (Top Right of Geni Page)
*On the menu that drops down, click on “Account Settings”
*On the “All Account Settings” page that appears, click on “Family Group”.
*Here you will be able to view and edit who is in your family group. Remove the names of strangers.

If you want to check who someone is Collaborating with:
*Click on their "Activity" tab (Middle left of their Profile Page)
*Click on "View All" on their "Collaborators" (Lower Right of their Activity Page)
*You can then "Stop Collaborating" with anyone of their Collaborators with whom you are also collaborating, if you need to.
