Österby is a village in Noarootsi Parish, Lääne County, in western Estonia. It is the only village in the parish which has retained its historical Swedish name without an equivalent in Estonian.

The Österby in Uppland, Sweden referred to in the profile is today named Österbybruk:

Yes, that is the correct place for Carl Jacob Anjou.
He was in Sweden, not in Estonia!
