Does anyone have any information on a MAE TUEY, born about 1891 in Aberdeen, S. Dakota ?
She first married a JAMES ROBERTS born abt 1879 in Michigan, and they had a daughter named
MAY JOSEPHINE born March 19, 1908 in Cook County Hospital.... found them on a census in 1910 still living in Chicago.
At that time James was a 'cook' at Cook County Hospital.
Mae Tuey was all or part Native American, probably Sioux but passed herself off as white....
I don't know if James Roberts 'died' or if Mae Tuey divorced him, because she was remarried to my grandpa, Wilson C. Lynam in 1915.
