https://archive.org/details/memoirsatraitin00harrgoog p70 says that John Harrison believed he was related to John' Mr Leeds 'Harrison 1578-1656, has anyone tried that line, Mr Leeds line died out , he had no heirs

My family believe we are related but I have only got my branch back to Rothwell about 4 miles from Foulby

the family legend says he was an uncle of John Harrison (wife: Sarah Lovell) who came to Nova Scotia, Canada in 1774 but I haven't seen any conclusive evidence to support the claim
