My test came back I-M223. Family lineage William Bowers (Virginia), William Bowers II (Arkansas), James William Bowers (Arkansas and Oklahoma), William "Willie" Bowers (Oklahoma and California), Elmer Bowers (Oklahoma and California), Bobby Bowers (Oklahoma and California).

I did some digging on this person and the Veitch family group on Facebook states the FTDNA hypogroup for Sheriff James Veatch is this Hypogrouping. James is my 9th great Grandfather so mine lines through his descendants Nancy Ann Veitch Veatch. Still not sure how these Hyplogroups work. But I am directly Descendant of him.

From What I gather on James Veitch he showing northern France but he himself was Scottish now that weird. Nancy Ann Veitch father was the M-223 lines. Up till then I go Maternal I believe. But it neat to know the DNA.
