I believe that Cyrus Markle was in fact Cyrus Boughner (1811-1893) son of Christopher Boughner (1785-1860) and Letitia Chevalier (1790-1855). Cyrus was the nephew of John Markle (1794-1870) and Anna Boughner (1793- c.1866). In the 1881 census, Cyrus was mistakenly recorded as Cyrus Markle when he was living with Lewis Markle who was John Markle's (1794-1870) grandson.
