There are two military records in the www.wiewaswie.nl archives related to Bernard Jacob Slaap in Bussum, the Netherlands. One lists a birthdate of: April 24, 1909 and the other lists July 25, 1904 has the birthday. The records are from 1929 and 1924 respectively.

The death record, which lists both parents names, is for a 48 year old man who died on February 14, 1953. This would be an age consistent with the 1904 birth year.

His partner is listed as: Klara Ida Wehrli. There are no records for her in the wiewaswie archives as of July 16, 2017.

There were two men named Bernard Jacob Slaap in Bussum. More detailed military registration records showed the name of the parents. The correct birth date is the one in this record. The man with the April 24, 1909 birth date had parents: Jacob Slaap and Maria Margaretha Ostendorf.
