I have reason to believe that the Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo executed during the Slagtersnek Rebellion is actually Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo, d5e4 and not Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo, b3c3d4e6 .

Reasons:
1. Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo, b3c3d4e6 had children born beyond 1819 (for instance f5 Martha Louisa Prinsloo, b3c3d4e6f4 ) and therefore couldn't have died in 1816.
2. The Slagtersnek memorial indicates the age of the executed Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo at 09 March 1816 as 32 years, which corresponds with the 02 May 1784 baptism date https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:S3HY-DZN4-7PB?cc=1478678&am... of Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo, d5e4 and not the 05 December 1788 baptism date of Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo, b3c3d4e6
3. According to H.C.V. Leibbrandt, The Rebellion of 1815, (1902) p. 32; Court Transcripts -https://archive.org/stream/rebellionof1815g00cape#page/32/mode/2up/... - Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo was "put under arrest on the 13th November last, at the place of his father Martinus Prinslo", whereas Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo, b3c3d4e6 's father was Willem Prinsloo. not Martinus. The court papers continuously refer to Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo as "Mart's' son".
4. The page of Willem Petrus (Willem Spreeu) Prinsloo, b3c3d6e7 states "Trou met sy eie niggie Maria Elizabeth Prinsloo b3c3d4e7 wat die weduwee is van Hendrik Frederik b3c3d5e4 wat in die Slagtersnek rebellie tereggestel is. Maria Elizabeth Prinsloo, d4e7 was married to Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo, d5e4 . Must state here that I have no idea as to the reliability of the source for this statement.

Thank-you Dirk,

Jan Visagie writes in Voortrekkerstamouers:

PRINSLOO, WILLEM PETRUS b2c3d6e7 = 1 / 1 /1 797 X Cradock 4/10/1819 Maria Elisabeth Prinsloo b2c3d4e7 = 16/10/1791 (weduwee van Slagtersnekrebel Hendrik Frederik Prinsloo wat tereggestel is).

It appears this source agrees with your view Dirk.

Lets give the others time to respond.

Thanks Alexander

I note you corrected the profiles, but the wrong one is still connected to the https://www.geni.com/projects/Slagtersnek-Rebellie-Rebellion-15-Dec... project page.

It is very clearly d5e4 known as Hendrik Kasteel (as his father was locked up in the Castle), who was executed. ...d4e6 was a mild guy also known as Hendrik Dominee and was at least neutral/passive during the whole uprising.
