Marie de Gravé, SM/PROG - Looking for mtDNA Descendants

I am fairly certain Marie is my mother's (Margaret Magdalene Giesken born Harris) direct mtDNA ancestor. according to Geno 2.0 she is T2b33. But this does not square with Chris Steyn.

Hi Sharon - I am not sure (where would I find info on that?). Just going off the report they sent. Results uploaded from Genographic project to FTDNA.

I'm not sure either, that's why I'm asking. :-)

Sorry. Just to clarify. My mother is T2b33. And as far as I can determine us a direct mtDNA descendant of Marie de Gravé. There is one other person in the T2b database on ftdna who claims direct descent from Marie de Gravé.

Ahh - makes sense. Well that will indeed mean that there is a conflict somewhere.

I will update her Curator note and entry on the MtDNA project to reflect that conflict.
