According to my research, Martha Jane Banks was the mother of Alexander L. Banks. Alexander was my great-grandfather. While doing my research I have been unable to find who Alexander's father was. I have heard that Martha Jane lived with the Lewis Covington family and perhaps he was also the father of her children but I have been unable to prove this. I am really wanting to find this information to make my family tree more accurate. Does anyone have any of this information to help me with my search?
