Malcolm Leach born 1755 in Kilmartin came to Carolina. His genetic Haplogroup (N-M178) is the same as my Haplogroup. It is unusual in Scotland. My ancestry Archibald Leach came to the Carolina Colony in about 1765. I believe our families are related. Archibald came to the Colonies with an infant son, his wife might have died in passage. A can surmise that my Leach family was originally from Kilmartin also.
