According to Hugh Ingram's will, his son died before the will was written, however John left 4 children. among them a John, perhaps he is "the" John

Immigrant bachelor Joseph Ingram of St. Ives, Huntingdonshire, England sailed to Northampton, Virginia in the 1650's. There are records for 1651, 1652, and 1653 with one under sponsor John Browne (of London?). Perhaps he sailed three times for work and business.
Immigrant John could be his brother since they lived nearby and ended in Northumberland County, Virginia plus both died within six months of each other.
Were they the sons of Robert I and Anne Saville of Huntingdon? If so, then their brother would be Robert II and Mary Anne Tansleley Ingram. That would leave immigrant Robert to Maryland as a nephew of John Ingram.

Another immigrant John Ingram arrived to Chester County, Pennsylvania in 1715. He was the son of Sir Arthur Ingram, 3rd Viscount of Irving and married to Sussana Leatham. This line leads to the Ingram, Kentucky group.
