Catherine Lewis (Empey) - Who are the correct parents of Caroline Lewis (Empey)?

There are several issues here but I think I have it mostly figured out. There are two different Thomas Empeys who emigrated to Canada from Ireland. They were born 15 years apart and were probably related. All the profiles of them and their families were added by the same person. I think maybe when he added some of the kids he got the two Thomases mixed up.

I found a source at bgibbard.ca showing the younger Thomas (b. 1778) and his family. He was married to Mary Switzer and had a daughter named Catherine born in 1803 although she died at the age of two. This Catherine was also born around that time. I'm guessing that both Thomases had daughters named Catherine who were born around the time time and the manager noticed the 'duplicate' and merged the two profiles.

Also, the younger Thomas has two daughters, Elizabeth and Nancy who were born when he was 6 & 7. I think they belong to the other Thomas and got added to the wrong profile.

The profile manager has fixed this problem.

Here's something that shows a George Carscallen born in 1763 marrying an Elizabeth Empey but that seems to make George the sage of her parents.

Here's another theory. Maybe these girls are attached to the right person but they're his sisters, not his daughters. This UEL history shows an Edward Carscallen who died in Fredericksburgh, Ontario. This is near Ernestown where Thomas was buried. Edward's son George was born in 1763 and married Elizabeth Embury. That makes George 15 years older than Thomas.
