I am simply going to suggest that by the number of spouses, children and siblings - this person has been merged incorrectly with multiple other persons and that the trees are convoluted.
I look forward to seeing this family straightened out, but do not currently have enough information on the lines to do so. The Vanmeter (Vanmatre, Vanmtre) lines are vast and easily confused. Let us all please find some citations and sources to share when making changes. - jc
