Is there any record for "Jonah" as a given name for Josiah. He is Josiah in 1820, 1830, 1840, 1850, and 1860 census and in the Harrison Co, VA Personal Property Tax Lists from 1819 to 1842 (then in Taylor Co). For his children I have: Waldo Porter b 27 Aug 1820; Jedidiah W b 4 Sep 1822; Mary b 26 Nov 1824; Elizabet Ann b 4 Apr 1827; Zerviah b 12 May 1829; and Josiah Goff b 26 Dec 1832. Jeriah is probably the same as Josiah; was there a Sophia b 1836 who died young:; Rivera, Rivira and Lavier are all names I have not seen - were these names "imported" with a merge? Jim Bartlett
