My grandfather James Franklin Moore was born in Iowa and his father was born in Ohio and his mother was born in Virginia. He lived in Indian Territory and had two young daughters when his wife died. Grandfather James Franklin Moore then married my grandmother Mary J. Murdock in Sulphur Springs. TX. They lived in Franklin County, TX for awhile and later moved to Erath County, TX. She was the daughter of James Thomas Murdock from Hopkins County, TX. Does anyone know anything about either James Franklin "Frank" Moore or Mary J. Murdock? Would love to know who his parents were and I don't know who her mother was. Her step-mother was Margaret Chesney that married James Murdock. Grandmother Mary Moore's mother was born in Alabama.
