Need Pro Help with Merge

Hi Chuck,

I work for Geni. We want to help, but be advised our curators have been instructed to NOT merge private profiles without permission from the users on the other side. I see that all three of the managers of that private profile have logged on recently (past few months anyway) so we should be able to get one of them to respond.

What have you done so far? Did you get a blue Tree Match and request the merge? Have you tried contacting the managers on that private profile? If you don't mind I can tag them here and ask them if they're willing to do the merge.

Yes, I got a blue Tree Match and requested the merge.

There is no reason for this profile to be private in the other tree. Adam has joined my tree and his profile is not private. He has never been asked to join the other tree.

Since Adam is alive, then an unclaimed Profile of him must be Private. The Managers of that version really do not have any choice about that.

So how does he claim this profile?
