As stated in her bio, "She was christened Anna Catharine MAJER, but her marriage record names her Maria Catharine MAJER. It is possible that she took the name Maria at confirmation. [Bob Hegerich]"
1. If anyone has found her baptism record, could you please attach it? I have not seen it.
2. Absent a baptism record, her marriage record is the oldest known record about her.
3. Most of the baptism records for her children list her name as Maria, not Anna. See https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/sources/KJZ3-1N1
I've changed her first name to Maria, with Anna as an AKA, until someone produces the baptism record.
