Need Hebrew Help with Important New Beit Hatfutsot Museum Project

I went through some of the profiles, and at the same time in a couple of cases made some cosmetic changes. Also made a merge of one of the profiles.

Are there guide lines with respect to double barrel names? My inclination is to record them as separate using "middle name" field , thus the Geni search engine(s) is/are more effective (am not sure whether Geni uses same search engine for manual searches as well as smart matches).

Also, whenever a name has "haKohen" הכהן, I place this in the suffix part and not part of the name (except possibly display name).

I do the same as you David, but I don't think there is a preferred standard and don't know whether it makes a difference in Search (which is atrocious and I hope they are finally going to make it work properly).

לדעתי,רוב האנשים שם יש "שם בישראל" - לדעתי זה מה שצריך להיות השם העיקרי בשדה של הטאב העברית. אם יש לו או לה שם לועזי באותיות עבריות בנוסף לשם העברי - לדעתי האיתות של השם הלועזי צריך להיות ברשימת הכינויים.

לפעמים יש שם אידיש שכתוב באותיות עבריות. לדעתי, הוא צריך להיות בטאב של האידיש - גם כשהוא חלק מהשם בישראל.

לדעתי, אם יש רק שם שם לועזי, איננו יכולים להמציא לו (או לה) שם עברי, אלה רק אם יש אסמכתא מאיזה מקום כגון אבן מציבה בקבר, מסמך ממשלתי וכו', כתבות בעיתונים הישראלים.

1. How does one add people from the spreadsheet to the BH list?
2. All the names on the list are in Hebrew so how do we add English (Latin) names?
3. Some have already MP on Geni and some do not like Leo Beack for instance
How do we make sure that there are no duplicates?
