Hi. Peter? Do you have any additional information on Yitzhak Auerbach? I’ve traced my family back to the year 103 and this thread has always been hazy. Thankfully being descended from a bizillion long rabbinical lines, there’s tons of documentary data but it just makes my head explode. Anyway assistance would be more than welcome.

Sadly, I don't have any information for this ancestor of the ReMa and my 19th great grandfather. I think someone severed the line going back much further.... Looks like we are cousins through the Maharash!.

I have the book “The Branches of Elitahu” the gain was my 8ths grandfather. The book includes names of branches. I can check those names in the book for you.
