Mr. John Ruthven, Music Master in Glasgow, here treated, died before 15 February 1732, the date upon which the mortcloth was hired for his burial. The burial record reads as follows: "The Cittie of Glasgow Record of Mortalitie in Anno 1732

I am puzzled by the fact that you have uploaded a copy of the first page of the testament dative of Sir John Ruthven of Dunglass, who died in May 1658, to the profile of Mr. John Ruthven, music master in Glasgow, who died before 15 February 1732.

Name excepted, they are not connected with each other, so far as I known, but if you have discovered a link I would be pleased if you would share it.

i also; found old notes
there was a guy from the 'parks' family
he told me Ruthven was spelled also as Ruven
and, he had a wife of Isobel or issobelle Parks
and, i see you mention her as ISOBEL PARK
i wonder if that is the REAL MISSING link
i'll need to look at that profile
