He was married to two women with similar names. Anne Greene, daughter of Job and Phebe, from 1707 to 1718. After she died he married Audrey Greene, daughter of Richard and Eleanor, in 1719.

Be very careful. I've just taken this family apart and put them back together. There are several children with the same given name.

Thanks for the heads up. I just check on my main tree on ancestry, and I do have both of his wifes, and their issues. My direct ancestor is Anne Stafford his second daughter with Anne Green/Stafford.

Private User - you're welcome. I think the tree was mostly in good shape. It's better documented now and I made the two wives and some or all of the children MPs with Curator's Notes.

I think there is one outstanding issue that I need to go check.

Which Whaley did Anne Stafford, the daughter, marry? Is there a reliable or primary source that we can cite in the Overview?

Or are these two different Anne Staffords? I don't think so, but this sometimes happens.

She married Thomas Whaley 1709, I have 15 DNA matches with Thomas and 14 with Anne Stafford, through my Ancestry account.If you have an Ancestry Account, I will link with you it is m primary tree location.

Nancy Whaley is another issue.

There's a confusion between her and Nancy Ann Stephenson (Whaley) born in Fayette, Virginia and married to a Hugh Stephenson.
